As our Data Engineering and Analytics Specialist in the IT team, you'll be at the heart of our applications and data ecosystem. The purpose of the position is to develop and optimize our data landscape together with our application developers, driving the ambitions of our organization to new heights. In your role you will

  • Architect, design, and optimize technical solutions that are performant, cost efficient and secure
  • Ensure we are always leveraging the latest and greatest technologies, by having our finger on the pulse of Azure’s and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem’s evolving tools and services
  • Ensure our data’s journey is seamless and secure, whether it’s structured or unstructured data, within SQL databases or Azure Data Lakes
  • Collaborate with domain experts and data analysts to understand data requirements, implement appropriate data solutions and support data analytics and business intelligence reporting
  • Develop Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines ensuring agile and seamless updates and improvements
  • Prioritize data security and privacy to safeguard our sensitive information, making sure we meet stringent privacy standards
  • Support our teams in their Business Intelligence and Data Analytics projects and ongoing activities, collaborating closely with other members of our IT team
  • Identify and initiate improvements to the data infrastructure and data analytics activities to help achieve our organizational goals


You have

  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Knowledge of the latest technologies in Cloud Computing (Azure), Databases and CRM systems (MS Dynamics 365)
  • A deep understanding and experience of DevOps methodologies to streamline development and operation of our data systems
  • Hands-on experience with the Azure ecosystem (e.g. Data Factory and Azure Synapse), enabling data integration and analytics at scale
  • Excellent Python, Bash and PowerShell skills to automate tasks, manage data flows, and enhance system functionalities
  • Already developed and managed infrastructures as code, using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
  • A meticulous attention to detail
  • Very good English skills, good German skills are a bonus
