Academic background

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in development management, international relations, business administration, political science, communications, geography, or any other relevant field


  • Minimum of 1 - 3 years professional work experience in Project Management, preferably in an international (development) context (e.g. with NGOs, EC, foundations, private companies, etc.)
  • Experience with framework contract management would be an asset
  • Consultancy experience would be an asset

Soft skills

  • Strong motivation to work as Project Manager in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to prioritise own tasks and willingness to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and towards multiple deadlines
  • Willingness to acquire new knowledge and take responsibility
  • Creativity and innovative spirit
  • Strong intercultural, communication and networking skills

IT Skills

  • Strong command of Word and Excel
  • Sound command of PowerPoint


  • French: Full professional working proficiency
  • English: Full professional working proficiency
  • German: basic command would be an asset
  • Other language: would be an asset


Implementation of EC Framework Contracts.

International projects in various phases of the project cycle and in diverse sectors. Tasks include among others:

  • General management of contracts and projects
  • Identification and recruitment of international experts
  • Defining composition of project teams
  • Developing implementation methodologies
  • Preparing financial proposals
  • Technical, administrative and financial backstopping of teams
  • Managing contacts with partners and clients
  • Managing travel arrangement for international experts
  • Processing payments to/from partners/ consultants/ clients
  • Proof-reading and formatting reports, CVs and other documents (incl. graphics and excel spreadsheet presentations)
  • Assuring quality and assuming ultimate responsibility for all services and output delivered
